Pacific Palisades Fire

Sifting through the ashes, I finally realized something about California politics.

Standing in the debris of a former home, I showed a homeowner some objects. He said it was from his sprinkler system which was fully up to code. State regulations mandated it. Then he chuckled and said no one mandated that the state provide any water.

Then it hit me. Failure is inevitable when virtue signalers are tested, because their virtue is fake. There is no substance behind their words.

He said he called the fire department. They said they would not come because it was too dangerous. There was no water.

Air tankers were told not to use ocean water in order to protect plants. Letting the city burn to the ground was the preferred option.

We were told that using sifters to comb through ashes was illegal, because it might stir up toxic dust. Meanwhile city street sweepers and the Army Corp of Engineers stirred up huge plumes of dust.

We ate lunch at the fire station and observed that every home around the station was burned to the ground. Everything around us signaled failure.

The mayor came out and gave a speech saying the cleanup was ahead of schedule. She said people could now drink the water. But the fire station was still getting their water processed by volunteer water treatment for free.

The incompetence of those who pretend to be more virtuous than others will eventually be tested. Their hypocrisy and fake virtue will be exposed. Their empty words will be carried away like dust in the wind.

Omnipotent moral busybodies in government are always holding us accountable. It is time to hold them accountable!
