Someday my time is gonna come  
That day shall be my last  
When e’r the silver cord is loosed  
And final lot is cast  
  
But breath is in my lungs today  
The sky is bright and wide  
The morning breaks with gentle light  
And mercy at my side

The dust returns to dust again

The years will pass, my head turn gray  
The steady hands will shake  
The songs I sing will fade away  
The earth my bones will take  
  
But while the birds still greet the dawn  
And wind moves through the trees  
I’ll walk this road with thankful heart  
For simple gifts like these
