New England Spring
Blossoms fall in silent grace,
Pink petals strewn, a fleeting trace,
They blanket earth in spring’s soft art,
A missive hymn to nature’s heart.
The world breathes here, in mist and bloom,
In breezy songs and soil’s perfume,
And I, a guest, dissolve, abide,
Where wild things live, where souls reside.
