Little Girl By the Shore

Little Girl By the Shore

A little girl plays by the shore,
Where waves roll endlessly,
What wonders might the future store
For this spirit dancing freely?

She builds her castles in the sand,
Chasing foam with laughter light,
Unaware of life’s uncharted land,
Stretching wide like ocean’s might.

Tiny feet splash in salty spray,
Eyes wide with awe at horizon’s call,
Unknowing paths lie ahead each day—
Rising, joyful, with occasional fall.

Years from now, she may look back here,
And gaze upon memory’s tide,
Reflect on choices, bold or dear,
Dreams fulfilled or set aside.

The storms she’ll weather, stars she’ll chase,
The hearts she’ll mend, the lives she’ll touch,
Through tempests fierce or calm embrace,
Her spirit will grow, enduring much.

Yet in this moment, pure and bright,
She twirls with wind, innocent, true,
Running now in golden light—
The waves she glides on through.
